The Great Western stands as a one-day music festival located in Glasgow's west end. In response to the client's needs, the festival called for an adaptable identity that embodied its unconventional, eccentric, and quirky essence.
The identity was meticulously crafted to encapsulate notions of movement, dynamism, and diversity, while introducing a vivid array of brand colours to bring a vibrant contrast to the typically grey skies of a Scottish winter.
A tailored graphic treatment and distinct style were devised for each of the 50+ artists slated to perform and the 10 venues hosting the event. This approach was specifically aimed at maximising impact across both social and traditional media platforms.
